April Fools! You're Missing the Point!

April fools!  You're missing the point!

From ancient times to the present the world has celebrated April Fool's Day.   Whether it be a day to amuse those close to you by acting foolish or a celebration of a new season.   From calendars lost by time in which April 1st was the beginning of the new year.   The Romans, the Greeks, the Jewish people have all celebrated this day.    To play pranks on friends and ask the gullible go on searches for things that don't exist and watch in hysterics when they actually try to find it.

To court jesters who told Constantine they could be Kings and he actually made one of these "fools" King for a Day.   That was the joke and everyone had a good time.   The joke of  it was the jesters were brilliant.   They understood, interpreted, and presented the views of the common people when it came to major current events.   And everyone at court laughed about it when had it not been said under the guise of entertainment, a common person would be killed for speaking at all.   Bringing to light the ridiculousness of the feudal  egos making decisions with bias and vendettas in a light way.   And one of them, became king for a day on April first.

So, play pranks, make people go look for things that don't exist, laugh at each other and chill out for a minute.   Got it.   As usual, let's dig deeper.  Today is a day for the obnoxious to be obnoxious.
To crack up laughing about how you upped the game from last year's prank and it was "Classic"!

The court jesters are my favorite April foolers.   They laughed and made others laugh at fools who didn't know they were fools.   Today I start a new tradition.   Swear, this will go down in Wikipedia history as an new era.     If you think about it.   It's a day to reflect to trying times, on current events that are ridiculous.   To celebrate the ones who didn't go on the search for what is not there and feel proud about that.

Where was I going with that?   Oh, new tradition, Wikipedia, etc....

Happy April First!   Be King or Queen for a day.   And have a fantastic time laughing at all the fools you've known.

It's hilarious!    All around.  For one and all.   ~ Cheers.
